Stranger Talk operates on a Hybrid Privacy Model. We distinguish between chats with real humans (which are private and ephemeral) and chats with our AI system (which are saved for your convenience).

1. Human-to-Human Chats (Not Stored)

• No Logs: When you are paired with another human user, the messages are transmitted in real-time. We do not store, record, or archive these conversations on our database.
• Instant Deletion: Once you disconnect from a human stranger, the chat history is permanently lost and cannot be recovered by us or you.

2. AI Companion Chats (Stored)

• History Feature: When you chat with our AI Companion, we do store these specific conversations in our database.
• Third-Party Processing: These messages are processed by third-party AI providers solely to generate responses.

3. Information We Collect

• Session Data: We may collect optional details (Name, Gender) to personalize your matching experience. This data is temporary.
• Support Email: If you contact us via email, we collect your address only to respond to your inquiry.

4. Data Sharing

We never sell your personal information.
For AI chats, data is shared with our AI service providers strictly for processing the conversation. For Human chats, data is never shared because it is never stored.
